Great cabbages and tomatoes from seeds sent by our good friend John Curtis after whom the gardens are named, and tended by Timothy’s gardening squad. These are photos from October and most of the vegetables have now been consumed. However, the new season is starting. Ridges have been prepared for maize and vegetables, and many different seeds kindly donated by John have been sent out by air freight. There are some different flower seeds, too, for the children to nurture.
