It was a great time at the dam constructed on the Chambo river; the kids had a nature walk and then sang songs, narrated verses and some danced as you can see from the boy who is entertaining the crowd. They had on the previous day enjoyed sweets sent by a friend in Oxfordshire and so Levison bought some snacks and bottles of pop for them for the second outing. The children are holding aloft Bibles donated by one of the Foundation Friends in Hampshire.
Levison took 33 of the orphans into the Mafinga Hills on the last day of 2017, but the weather wasn’t kind, so they went back up on New Year's Day. There were 51 orphans; the weather was better, but even though the storm clouds did gather, the children didn’t want to go back.
